[Tony is naked from the waist up, a sheet covering the rest. Someone is obviously on laying on the bed on the other side of him but you can't see who. Shifting to his side he looks over at her.]

Mmmmm, back to brunette I see. I guess that was just from the curse then? Are you-

Damn communication device.

[The video feed cuts off.]

So, could all murdered people who weren't restored to a non "dead but alive in that weird City way" selves tell the Police Force so that we can find out which murders aren't curse related?

So, apparently I was dead yesterday. Not sure what the curse was but surveillance showed me slumping over my desk at midnight completely dead and being revived at midnight tonight. Life went on for everyone else, which is a bit disappointing, to find out you're actually not the center of reality.

I also have a note here written by a cursed version of myself from a few days ago, which is new. Just full of surprises today.

Wow, is it already Thursday? I've been in my lab for the last couple of days, I always lose track of time in there. Romana, I promise I won't be late for our dinner though. Well, not too late because I really need to clean up first.

Is everyone okay today? Sorry I haven't gotten back to some of you but I just get so caught up in my clean energy work I forget about everything else.

[ooc: Tony never met Sunset Bain and therefore never got the harsh lessons she taught him. No ego, no womanizing, no being an asshole, just a somewhat naive genius.]

So someone that looks like me is in the City. Coming from a world where parallel dimensions aren't uncommon and actually being an amalgamation of me and a younger version of myself it's not that big of a shock. I just feel bad for him. He goes through life being the best looking guy around and then suddenly he comes to a place and someone looks just like him and is more intelligent, has more sex appeal, and more money than God.

So just to clarify, this is not me. So everyone who wants to punch me in the face? Make sure the Tony you're punching in the face has a goatee.

Rain, do you have plans for this afternoon?

I'd like to take a moment to talk about recruitment opportunities within the Police Force. I'm starting a Technology Division within the Force. The intention is to both specialize in solving crimes where technology was the main means used to commit the crime as well as use the technology available in the City to assist other divisions. If this something that you're interested, please let me know.

If you're already a member of the Police Force and would like to transfer into this area, please let me know.

Also, I'm looking for anyone in the City that has cancer. We've been working on a cure at City Solutions and we've come to the point where we need to do clinical trials on humans. Or, I guess if there are any non-humans out there who have cancer, we could treat you too. If this is something you're interested in please let me know.

The other day could have been a lot worse. I hate to fail or be wrong. Every time I am I use that sting as a reminder to not let it happen again. Of course, there are failures and then there are "You sent one of your best friends up into space because he was too dangerous but something went wrong and when he came back he tried to kill you and all your friends" wrong.

Steve, I think we need to have that talk now.

I didn't think yesterday's curse was all that bad. Sure, it caused me to make a pass at Logan, but he was probably rather flattered. And some very good things came out of it too. Or at least one very good thing.

I see things are being shuffled around in the Police Force. Best wishes to Lieutenant Hawkeye wherever she is. She was a very able commander.

If anyone is looking for work, please let me know. City Solutions has a place for just about everybody and is very flexible about hours.

[Private to Marvel 616 People Excluding Cap/Unhackable]

Please don't tell Cap about what he's going to experience, especially his death. I plan to tell him myself, I owe him at least that much. I'll let you all know when I do so can talk to him and make sure I didn't leave any parts out that would make me look like less of a bastard.

It came to my attention that I had been forgetting things. Vast amounts of time spent in the City were apparently completely gone from my memory. People, places, and events just erased.

Fortunately, in addition to being ridiculously good looking I'm also ridiculously smart and was able to fix the problem. So, anyone that I had forgotten about the last 10 days or so, I remember you all again.

[ooc: Tony rebooted his brain but he'll start forgetting things again soon.]

Hair tribute is taken care of. About the most reasonable request so far so it's probably going to be the one that will come back and bite us in the ass most later.

So, seeing as how we're in a place where almost anything is possible, or at least a place where worlds where things not possible or at least scarce in our own are everyday, I've got a topic of discussion:

Artificial intelligence.

What are your thoughts on it? Good, bad, a pipe dream in your world, you have no idea what it is, you have it, or anything in between, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

Tosh, are you free tonight?

If you don't know about New York by now you're either not from Earth or you haven't been reading the network.

I don't know if I'd say it's the greatest city in the world, but I've been all over the galaxy and there's no place quite like it.

Of course, half of Manhattan gets blown up every few years but I think that just makes New Yorkers more resilient to live there.

Thank you to everyone who answered the survey. The results were interested. Also, I think right now just about anyone from my world that's here could come get a cup of sugar from me and it would probably count. I seriously doubt any of them would consider me an ally.

Interesting to read about parents. Mine were pretty normal. Yes, dad was the CEO of a billion dollar weapons manufacturer, but in terms of parenting skills they were pretty normal and did an (arguably) good job.

Not that I didn't have a weird childhood. It was kind of disturbing when you think about it, at least in my later years. What kind of teenager can't sleep so they get up to try and figure out how to make a missile more deadly. My past times included figuring out how to better kill people when most kids were figuring out who to ask to prom. Not unusual for some parts of the world or situations but it was for mine.

Maybe that's why I'm so good at fighting terrorists, because I can understand that mindset. I can understand being so passionate about something you would sacrifice anything for it and I understand sitting around spending hours and hours trying to find out the best way to destroy a building or take a life and how you have to approach that problem from an academic point if you really want to get it done and done well.

If anyone is looking for something to do tomorrow evening, there will be fireworks going off above City Solutions around midnight. There will be space heaters provided in some of the areas around the building for those of you who aren't quite up to braving the temperatures.

I hope you all have a happy New Year.

And it's almost the big day. It feels weird not to be celebrating it back home with Jarvis or Steve or some of my other friends. Reed and Hank are always good for some holiday cheer. Plus it's always fun to watch Franklin or Cassie open their gifts. And you can't beat their gifts in return. Being so good looking, intelligent, and rich there's not a lot I can ask for. But money can't buy a picture frame out of macaroni and a card that says "To Uncle Tony."

Despite being plucked back here while I was in the middle of fighting off an alien invasion, I'm happy to be here. I have good friends who are better to me than I deserve and if I have to be trapped somewhere I can't ask for much more than that.

Ladies of the City, I know you're hoping to find a Tony Stark under the tree tomorrow morning but I'm afraid you'll have to settle for an action figure at most. A merry Christmas to you all still.

Stark Solutions employees, the building will be open if you absolutely have to work on projects, but remember you have until after New Years off completely paid, so enjoy yourselves.

As it becomes evening again, all unarmed citizens are advised to stay inside. All armed citizens equipped to deal with the zombie threat are advised to help get others to safety.

I realize that the zombies are people who used to be your friends and family. But they're not anymore, they're dead. Anything that looks like it might be recognition in their eyes is nothing more than echoes of prior physiological responses. These aren't the people you knew.

If you're hesitant to kill any of these zombies because they used to be people, keep in mind that it's unlikely that they would want you to allow them to be a danger to others if you had the ability to end their "lives" and put a stop to them being a threat.

When dealing with zombies:

1) Remember that zombies feel no pain. You can't cripple a zombie like you can a normal person. To cripple a zombie you need to remove the entire limb.

2) Shotguns are most effective unless you're a very good shot. Always go for the head, you eliminate the head then you stop the zombie.

3) Get to high ground. Zombies don't do well with stairs. If you can destroy or block stairs leading up to where you're safe, even better.

4) UV light hurts zombies. So if you have to go out, going out during the day is the best. It would be a good idea to stalk up on supplies.

5) Do not get bitten or scratched by a zombie. Kind of a no brainer, but you never know. If they come in contact with you and draw blood I'm sorry to stay you're most likely beyond hope. If this has happened please contact the police force and we can see about confining you so that you don't hurt anyone once the disease takes full effect. eta According to Dr. Sahl, if the wound is on a limb and it is amputated in time you can avoid the spread of the virus to other parts of your body.

6) Find someplace safe. The following are a list of known safe areas that are opening their doors to others. The list will be updated as new information is made available:

The Police Station
A Warehouse normally resided in by Rosella of Daventry and Sam Witwicky
Building 12
The Hospital

Description of What Tony Saw/Experienced )

I never really felt any fear of becoming a scrooge but being shown scenes from my past have reminded me that I do have a lot to be thankful for. Specifically, the friends I've had over the years that have made sure I've gotten as far as I have.

If anyone is needing a bit of extra coin this holiday season, we're looking for maintenance staff, cleaning staff, kitchen staff, and security staff at City Solutions. I promise you won't be able to beat the wages.

All current employees, you should see your holiday bonuses in your most recent paychecks.

[ooc: Current employees can expect to see a bonus of an indigo or two in their paychecks. Also, Tony is feeling very kind and generous after being reminded he is not a dead alcoholic. Now is the time to hit him up for favors.]
