Well that was a lovely bit of mind-fuckery there by the deities. I know it's not like we should be surprised by this point, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be appalled.

I'm sure some of you had really good experiences with dreams, which is nice, but I have a feeling that most of the City didn't, just because that seems to be the modus operandi of the deities. Angst and embarrassment were probably the most common outcomes of the dreams.

And fitting in is over rated. It's more important to have people who like you for who you are.

I'm too different. His world - it's like living in a fairytale. Everyone's so smart and beautiful and, oh, everything. Like people in a fancy book.

I can't think fast enough to keep up and... I'm just not enough of what they are.

And now he's gone anyway. He must have gone home sometime in the night, I think.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting people you care about to be with you. I know you and I know if it was up to you, you would send Chuck to wherever he was happiest.

I would. I really would. I'd do that for all of my friends - and even for people I don't really know or like.
