[Tony groaned and shifted on the floor, his entire body tingling and difficult to move.]

[Quickly crossing to his desk, Romana picked up the phone and dialed the security office.]

I'm going to have security come and get you and you can stay in one of the ready rooms for the day.

[He tried to move in time to avoid the blast, but it was completely useless. The beam hit him and he slumped to the ground unconscious.]

[Romana waited until all she heard were the sounds of his even breathing and her own heartbeats before she opened her eyes again. She slowly crossed over to where Tony lay unconscious and knelt beside him, absently reaching out touch his face.

She stayed there, running her fingers through his hair, until the security team came to take him away.]
