Hi, this is Tony Stark, right? I heard you were pretty much the go-to guy for anything technological. I'm Buffy Summers and I was kind of wondering if you could help me.

I need a chip. a microchip? there's a vampire. back home, the government put a chip in his head that stopped him from hurting humans. every time he did it would like...electrocute him or something. either way it meant serious pain, so he didn't. I was wondering if you could make something like that in the city.

And he's volunteering for this?

From:

...no? but um, vampire? evil? doing this for the good of mankind and everyone else's general safety?

From:

Then I'm sorry, but no. That's a slippery moral slope that I've already been down.

he's a vampire. as in, evil people-eating and attacking and killing vampire. if i had my way he'd be dust already, but apparently that isn't an option. i don't even know if morals even apply here.

what if he volunteered for it?

If he volunteered for it or he did something that someone pressed charges for and that was in sentence, then yes, we could do it.

okay. thank you.

[With Tony's new Bleeding Edge armor, he was able to make it to Romana's location in no time.

As soon as he landed it transformed back into his clothing, freeing him up to pull the Time Lady close and kiss her passionately.]

[Romana barely had time to breathe before he pulled her close and she ceased caring. Breathe, not breathe? Against odds she could only begin to calculate, she was back in the City, and so was Tony.

[He had missed her so much. Even across worlds and realities and missing memories you couldn't hide the memory of someone you loved, not completely.]

[She ran a finger down the side of his face, tracing it, committing it back to memory.]

I do wish we didn't have to keep meeting like this.

[Tony smiled and leaned forward, resting his forehead against hers.]

We'll figure out a way to make it more permanent one day.

Until then, what do you want to do?

[She laughs, as a realization dawns on her.]

Neither of us own any property. I left everything I had to Rose.

From:

We can always find an empty apartment, they're always in abundance here.

From:

I'm not all that particular, so long as it's quiet and we can spend some time together.

[She rests her head against his shoulder, closing her eyes and letting herself relax, letting the walls she normally kept in place fall.]

[Tony just held here there for a moment, enjoying her closeness. He was reluctant to let her go, as if she might disappear if he did.]

Time together sounds perfect.

I can't believe this place brought us back again.

[Romana ran a finger along the collar of his shirt, just feeling the texture of his skin under the pad of her finger.]

Pity it won't keep us here.

From:

Mmm, no, it probably won't. But I'll take what I can get.

[She can probably also feel that he now has an arc reactor in his chest, like movie!Tony.]

[She does and her fingers explore the edges, a slight frown appearing on her face.]

Ah, that.

[He gave a bit of a smile.]

A... necessary upgrade.

[Her fingers continued to trace the outline as she pulled away a little so she could try and study it through his shirt. After all, it was a little too cold to ask him to take his shirt off here.]

Can you take us somewhere? I want to look at it.
